Abstract

When settling down and to define the main theoretical arguments that can delimit (from our vision) and to define the concepts of representation sociospace, studied through the technical one and at the same time methodology of Mental Maps, like a form of social knowledge, we elaborate this new contribution in which thinks about an investigation that he/she wants to offer a model about how to approach the topic that occupies us methodologically. I summarize scientific of the work of the authors’ of the same, students of grade of Psychology of the University of the Magdalena, titled grade: Representación Socioespacial del Centro Histórico de Santa Marta ,. Locating us in the necessity of knowing the mental maps as construction of the reality and the way like the knowledge is built in her. This way, the main goal that it is traced it is the understanding of the Mental Maps that the fellows that use Santa Marta’s Historical Center have formed.
