The Great cysts of the jaws have been presents in the humanity a long time , since the early evolution, because have been found in fossilized specimens, they have called the atention of the clinicians, around their etiology, in her that has notified the genetic area, (demostrada en el growth of the keratocysts of the jaws), the phisiopathology, microscopic appearance (histologic features, and inmunocytochemical techniques), diagnostics possibilities for the image, (like Computed tpmography and magnetic resonance imaging) ,and another tests. Besides call the atention specially you form then radical upon study, for his alternatives of handlindg, of association ́s analisys to another beningn and malignant pathologies, and of the very high recurrence of some of these lesions. Very much has development to elucidate his nature real , to classify adequatly the lesion discarding pathological associations sindromicases, to indicate an appropiate treatment, and to acomplish tracking in the long run. This one article intends to collect an general information that give we parameters to discuss the study of maxillary cysts starting from the presentation of a clinical case.
