Abstract

It is necessary to know the way to collect, preserve, and conserve marine macroalgae in order to generate biological collections that can be used for different research purposes (taxonomy, systematic, ecology, evolution, etc). Such collections also provide important ducational tools. Thus, the collections constitute part of the national patrimony
