Resumen

Las prácticas de gestión de la cadena de suministro sostenible se han desarrollado desde hace algún tiempo, a nivel mundial, con el objeto de incorporar las cuestiones ecológicas a las empresas, disminuyendo los efectos destructivos involuntarios sobre el medio ambiente en el proceso de fabricación y compra. Al mismo tiempo, las economías circulares amplían los límites de la sostenibilidad medioambiental, al destacar la noción de bienes innovadores, creando una relación viable entre los ecosistemas y el crecimiento económico. A través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura, este documento identifica cuatro tendencias de estudio (factores, barreras, prácticas y rendimiento), al aplicar una economía circular en la industria textil y de la confección. Se establece un modelo conceptual basado en estas cuatro tendencias de estudio, que ilustra la relación entre ellos, y se destacan los retos de la aplicación de la economía circular, ofreciendo algunas sugerencias para los gestores de la industria textil y de la confección. Por último, se concluyen varias direcciones de investigaciones futuras.
