Abstract
Research this article presents the results associated with the evaluation of academic processes, programs Barranquilla Industrial Engineering. Initially identified variables and categories associated with the systems and academic processes and guidelines of the National Council on Accreditation, which was performed a recital instrument requirements of this standard. Later programs are evaluated with the instrument in reference to finally analyze and tabulate the information. For this research were as theoretical concepts concerning Assessment of academic programs, evaluation of academic processes, processes, systems of quality management and guidelines of the National Council for Accreditation in higher education academic programs. This research was descriptive, qualitative and exploratory. Since result of this one Investigation could identify the strengths and weaknesses of the programs I object of study, in such a way that the actions and strategies could be orientated for the improvement of the academic processes.
