Abstract
Abstract Innovation in organizations has been a constant concern for the academy of management. Theoretical work exploring the association between the implementation by a company management practices or management techniques, and the type of external links that have business with different actors and financial institutions, associations, educational institutions, community. Another relationship that has been studied is between administrative practice management or technology used, and results in innovation. This paper explores these relationships for Colombian manufacturing firms, found inter alia that the major companies are links with financial institutions, and there is a preference to invest in IT quality management.This journal provides an open access to its content, based on the principle of offering the public free access to research, helping to increase global knowledge exchange. Likewise, the printed version is freely accessible and has no associated costs per publication.
