Abstract
Abstract The electoral victory of President Hugo Chávez has resulted in the restructuring of partisan cleavage, creating new uprooting inducing a sector of the population migrate in search of new job opportunities and economic prosperity. Thus we study the impact of new policies within the Fifth Republic and its consequences around the current migration in Venezuela from 1999.This journal provides an open access to its content, based on the principle of offering the public free access to research, helping to increase global knowledge exchange. Likewise, the printed version is freely accessible and has no associated costs per publication.
