Economic history in the latin american historiography: dilemma or change of the rhetoric to the cliometría

Abstract

Abstract This writing, tries to analyze which is? and how has been? , the paper that has played through the times, the different methods and methodologies to work history and what importance has had each one of them, within the Latin American historiography, specially economic history. This analysis is directed in including/understanding the different modalities that have been used to make historiography of economic cut, doing for it a route from the Rhetoric, Pragmatic and the others, to arriving at most modern, in special, the Cliometría.
