Abstract
Abstract The studies of administration in Colombia have been characterized from its origin by the disturbed growth of their supply as much in the quantitative aspect as in the qualitative one, without being accompanied of the academic quality and pertinence that the superior education of the country demands. In this article the causes of the expansion and diversification of the programs of administration in Colombia are identified and analyzed, by means of an exhaustive revision of the bibliography related to the subject, in order to contribute to the debate and reflection about this problematic one.This journal provides an open access to its content, based on the principle of offering the public free access to research, helping to increase global knowledge exchange. Likewise, the printed version is freely accessible and has no associated costs per publication.
