Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze companies created by graduates of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accounting Sciences University Foundation Technology Comfenalco (Futco) in the city of Cartagena, as well as the funding sources used. The sample were 20 enterprises. The collection of information was carried out through the application of interviews and surveys. Of the 25 companies created thanks to the Entrepreneurship Program Futco 80% are graduates of the Faculty Economics, Management and Accounting. 40% were incorporated as Simplified Corporations (SAS). In relation to economic activities, 30% are wholesale and retail. 85% of the realized business initiatives were made by chance. 75% of entrepreneurs surveyed said the lack of support from the institution. Similarly, entrepreneurs were asked from when materialize their business initiatives and responded to in 55% after graduates. With regard to funding, 85% of surveyed entrepreneurs started their business activities with its own resources.This journal provides an open access to its content, based on the principle of offering the public free access to research, helping to increase global knowledge exchange. Likewise, the printed version is freely accessible and has no associated costs per publication.
